Cognitive Stimulation Therapy gives people with mild-moderate dementia to be part of a very sociable and therapeutic group.

Additionally this gives a break for carers to have their own space to meet and relax away from their caring role.

There will be 10 weekly Wednesday sessions starting on 10th October until the 12th December from 2-4pm. (Address will be confirmed to those who book on)

CST gives people with dementia a space where they are valued, offered the right level of challenge and are engaged in how the group is run. They regain cognitive and social skills, as well as confidence in their everyday abilities.

At the same time, but in a separate space, carers will have time to meet and relax away from their caring role for a while. The two groups then meet together to end the session to talk about what they have done and have tea & cake.

Please note this is not a drop in session, we hope that you and the person you take care for can attend all sessions but understand you may need to miss sessions due to un-foreseen circumstances.

If you would like more information or would like to book on please contact Marta Bello on 020 7428 8950 or [email protected]
