Allegra Lynch
CEO
​Allegra has worked at Camden Carers since Feb 2010, starting as the Deputy CEO and taking over as CEO in 2014. She oversees the everyday running of the
organisation working closely with the board of Trustees and colleagues to provide
a high quality service to unpaid carers across Camden.

Ciare Reynolds
Deputy CEO
Ciare joined Camden Carers in 2011 and is now the Deputy CEO, with a team of 13 staff giving information, advice, Carers Conversations (Assessments) Health and Lifestyle checks, Financial advice and support - working closely with other organisations and professionals in Camden including the social services.

Kemi Bandele Forbes
Service Manager
Kemi joined Camden Carers in 2016 initially supporting Young Adult Carers (YACs) and is now the Support & Wellbeing Service Manager, with a team of 13 staff giving information, advice, Carers Conversations (Assessments) Health and Lifestyle checks, Financial advice and support - working closely with other organisations and professionals in Camden including the social services. . Kemi is an active member of the organisation’s Equality & Diversity group and co-founder of the Black Carers Collective. Kemi has also been appointed as a board member for the North Central London (NCL) People Board.

Anna Campbell
Service Manger
Anna joined Camden Carers in December 2021 as the Project Manager for Making Carers Count – a project aimed at identifying and supporting underrepresented carers. She is now Project Manager for the GP and Hospital Development project – focused on increasing carer identification and awareness in GP and hospital settings. Anna is also chair of the Equality and Diversity Working Group.

Katy Anderson
Team Manager, Learning Disability lead & Autism Champion
Katy joined Camden Carers in 2022 as the Learning Disability Lead, running monthly groups and meetings, giving information and advice on the Support & Wellbeing line and offering Casework and Carers Conversations. Part of the role includes maintaining links with other services, organisations and professionals in Camden to improve the experiences of carers. Katy runs the Family Members Reference is a member of the Equality & Diversity group, and supports the Camden Carers Voice meetings

Alex Donnelly
Support & Wellbeing Worker ( Dementia Lead)
Alex joined Camden Carers as our Dementia Lead in May 2022 and supports carers through our Support and Wellbeing Line, completing Carers Conversations and facilitating our Dementia Carers Group. Her previous work experience includes 4 years as a development worker in Extra Care schemes; focusing on facilitating activities and events for people living with Dementia and Complex needs and working for Mind in Haringey on their 55+ project aimed at reducing isolation and encouraging independence.

Avi Chia
Support & Wellbeing Worker (Carers Conversation)
Avi’s role at Camden Carers includes working on our Support and Wellbeing Line and completing Carers Conversations with carers. Avi is passionate about empowerment. Her previous work experience includes: Citizens Advice Bureau volunteer, residential mental health support worker, adult community care social worker and she currently volunteers at a dementia café in Islington. Avi loves to get lost in a good book & always has time to reminisce and eat cake.

Clarina Colaco
Administrator
Clarina joined Camden Carers in 2024. She started as an Admin Support Worker helping to book appointments for Carers and with the events and activities. Clarina is a member of the Autism Partnership Board and the Race Equality Network. Clarina previously worked at Haverstock School in 2003-2020 as a Media Resources Technician and General Office Assistant. Clarina also worked for Camden Council as a Business Support Assistant in 2020-2021.

Elaine Roberts
Support & Wellbeing Worker (Carers Conversation)
Elaine works as a part-time Support and Wellbeing Worker. She previously worked at Camden Carers between 2010-11 on the Health and Wellbeing project. Following that Elaine was employed at a sheltered housing scheme in Enfield, supporting vulnerable people to live as Independently as possible, and then worked as a Carer Support Worker at a Carers Centre in Kent.

Gillian Thompson
Support & Wellbeing Worker (Employment Lead)
Gillian joined Camden Carers in 2022 with the Making Carers Count Programme which involved raising awareness and the access of services for underrepresented carers. Gillian’s current role is with the Support and Wellbeing Team and includes supporting carers through Carers Conversations, outreach sessions, grant applications, and supporting the facilitation Carer focus groups, and the Black Carers Collective.

Helen Balami
Support & Wellbeing Worker (Mental Health Lead)
Helen joined Camden Carers in 2024 as part of the Support and Wellbeing Team. She provides support and information to Mental Health Carers and raises awareness of carers to health professionals, Adult Social Care and voluntary sector organisations. Helen has personal experience of being a carer.

Kheira Hadjazi
Communication Administrator
Kheira Hadjazi joined Camden Carers in January 2022 to obtain a level 3 business admin apprenticeship. Kheira has moved on from her apprenticeship and is now working part-time at Camden Carers hoping to obtain further work experience in administration and communication, she helps with reception, referring carers for support internally, answers a range inquires over the phone and email.

Lou Huskisson
Support & Wellbeing Worker (Health Lead)
Lou started working for Camden Carers in August 2016 as a Health Promotion Officer. Prior to this Lou worked for the NHS and Public Health in Camden for 12 years. Lou was a support tenant within Camden for people with learning disabilities for 13 years and for the past 4 years has provided the Health Checks for Camden Carers.

Miles Maiers
Older Carers Living Well Coordinator
Miles joined Camden Carers in 2019. He runs social groups for older carers and carers of people living with dementia to meet, chat and do social activities together. He also facilitates the Camden Dementia Action Alliance, a network of over 50 organisations working to make Camden a more dementia friendly place to live and work. Miles is a carer himself and previously worked on non-profit technology projects.

Muhsana Khatun
HR & Volunteer Lead
Muhsana joined Camden Carers in 2016 as Level 3 Business Admin apprentice and has recently completed her Level 3 & Level 5 apprenticeship in CIPD Human Resources. She works with the HR committee, CEO & Deputy CEO on HR management and works on designing the activities calendar and recently oversee the Volunteer project. She is also part of the internal Equality & Diversity working party.

Sue Taylor
Support & Wellbeing Worker (Health Lead)
Sue joined Camden Carers in 2013 and is part of the Support and Wellbeing Team. She delivers health and lifestyle consultations to carers and raises awareness of carers by delivering training to health and social care staff including GPs and by attending weekly multi-disciplinary team meetings. Sue has personal experience of being a carer.

Susan Burchell
Support & Wellbeing Worker (Carers Conversation)
Susan joined Camden Carers in 2010 as a Support Worker (Stroke Lead) - working with carers of people affected by stroke and liaising with stroke health specialists. Susan has also worked on the Grants Project, the Health and Wellbeing Project, and as a generalist Support and Information Worker. In 2013 Susan left Camden Carers to take on another role and to complete a counselling qualification. She returned to Camden Carers in 2014 and now focuses on Carers Conversations

Vicki Richards
Counselling Coordinator
Vicki's main role is to manage the Counselling Team of 10 counsellors and support all carers in throughout the Counselling process. She completes assessments, organise placements and offer ongoing support. Alongside this, she works with the Grants Team making the purchases for the grants that are awarded. She is also a member of the Support and Wellbeing Team and support on the line one day a week, supporting carers through a range of topics and issues.
