Activities and Groups
Camden Carers provides a wide range of meaningful training, leisure and personal development opportunities for carers. Often carers feel isolated within their caring role and lack the confidence to go into mainstream community activities. The activities we offer can be a great way for carers to build confidence, make new friendships and feel better able to try new things which they will enjoy.
There are many ways in which carers can achieve better balance in their lives – please see below.

Past activities have included tours such as the Emirates Stadium and Downing Street, creative workshops, theatre visits, nature walks, and much more. We also run an annual residential trip to countryside locations across the UK, with activities like rock climbing, gorge walking and camping.

We regularly consult with YACs to ensure the activities we offer are valuable, enjoyable, and shaped by their needs and interests.
We also run a YAC mailing list where we share local events and opportunities across Camden and London, including support related to employment, wellbeing, and personal development.
