Allegra Lynch

CEO

Allegra has worked at Camden Carers since February 2010. She oversees the running of the organisation working closely with colleagues and trustees to provide a high quality service for carers in Camden.

Anna Campbell

Senior Manager

Anna joined Camden Carers in 2021, as Project Manager for Making Carers Count, which focused on improving engagement with underrepresented carers. In 2025 she became a Service Manager, and is also the Chair of the Equality and Diversity Working Group.

Sharon Hammond

Senior Manager

Sharon joined Camden Carers 2016 to deliver the Working for carers Employment Service.  Sharon is now one of the Service Managers overseeing; Dementia, Older Carers groups, Counselling Service, Breaks & Activities, Employment Service, Phone & Admin team. At the core of everything I do is a genuine belief in people, their strength, their stories and their ability to thrive when given the right tools and support. Sharon enjoys walking, Marvel films and sunshine holidays.

Alexandra Donnelly

Support & Wellbeing Worker (Dementia Lead)

Alex joined Camden Carers in May 2022 as Support and Wellbeing Worker (Dementia Lead), which includes working on the support and wellbeing line, completing Carers Conversations and Co-facilitating the Dementia Carers Group. 

Alex loves movies, making pottery and befriending all animals.

Avi Chia

Support & Wellbeing Worker (Carers Assessments)

Avi works on our Support and Wellbeing Line and completing Carers Conversations with carers.  Avi is passionate about empowerment. Previous work experience includes: Citizens Advice Bureau volunteer, residential mental health support worker, adult community care social worker and she currently volunteers at a dementia café in Islington. 

Avi loves to get lost in a good book & always has time to reminisce and eat cake.

Elaine Roberts

Support & Wellbeing Worker (Carers Assessments)

Elaine joined Camden Carers in 2016 as a Support and Wellbeing Worker.  Her role focuses on Carers Conversations and reviews, including completing them with carers, processing them for colleagues and completing eligibility checks.

Foulla Pashkaj

Support & Wellbeing Worker

Foulla began her journey delivering wellbeing workshops for Young Adult Carers (YACs) and joined Camden Carers in 2022, supporting an internship that helped create the organisation's YAC strategy. As a Support and Wellbeing Worker and a carer herself; she carries out Carers assessments, supports with grant applications, helps run the Zoom art class, and brings creativity, empathy, and a passion for natural health to her work.

Helen Balami

Support & Wellbeing Worker (Mental Health Lead)

Helen joined Camden Carers in 2024 as part of the Support and Wellbeing Team. She supports carers by providing information and guidance, completing Carers Conversations, offering casework support, and raising awareness of carers’ needs among health professionals. Helen leads the Mental Health Carers Group, a peer support group, and brings her own lived experience as a carer to the role.

Outside of work, she enjoys gardening and listening to music.

Kheira Hadjazi

Communication Administrator

Kheira became part of the Camden Carers team in January 2022 and works part-time as a Communications Administrator. She provides reception cover, signposts carers to appropriate internal services, and manages a wide range of enquiries via phone and email, helping to ensure carers receive timely and accurate information.

Miles Maier

Older Carers Living Well Coordinator

Miles joined Camden Carers in 2019.  He runs social groups for older carers and carers of people living with dementia to meet, chat and do social activities together.  He also facilitates the Camden Dementia Action Alliance, a network of over 50 organisations working to make Camden a more dementia friendly place to live and work. Miles is a carer himself and previously worked on non-profit technology projects. Miles loves music from the 70s and 80s, and exploring new places.

Ruhana Nahar

Support & Wellbeing Worker (Support Line)

Ruhana joined Camden Carers in October 2019 in the Support and Wellbeing team, providing advice, guidance and assistance to unpaid carers.
Ruhana works on the Support and Wellbeing Line, calling and offering support to unpaid carers facing a wide range of challenges and helping them navigate appropriate services.
Ruhana brings a background in supporting people with learning disabilities through both direct support and advocacy. She has knowledge and experience in helping carers access homecare support and other essential resources.

Outside of work, Ruhana loves travelling—though most of her time is now joyfully spent with her young son. She is also a passionate food lover.

Susan Burchell

Support & Wellbeing Worker (Carers Assessments)

Susan joined Camden Carers in 2010 as a Support Worker (Stroke Lead), since then she has worked in a variety of roles and projects. Susan's current role is focused on Carers Conversation and Reviews.

Vicki Richards

Counselling Coordinator

Vicki is responsible for coordinating the Counselling Service, something she enjoys as  a Psychotherapist. She supports with the grants project making the purchases for carers. She also lends a hand on the Support and Wellbeing Line. In her spare time, Vicki enjoys going swimming and loves a Vanilla Latte.

Ciare Reynolds

Deputy CEO

Ciare joined Camden Carers in January 2011 and has worked across the organisation in a variety of roles, from dementia support worker to team and service management. She now works closely with the senior management team and the Board of Trustees to strengthen support from carers across Camden. Ciare sits on the Equality and Diversity working group and is the organisation's Safeguarding Lead. She loves animals and travelling - especially when the two can be combined.

Kemi Bandele-Forbes

Senior Manager

Kemi joined Camden Carers in 2016 and is currently Service Manager overseeing the organisation's Support & Wellbeing and digital services. Kemi is founder and co-facilitator of the Black Carers Collective and an active member of the Equality & Diversity working group.

 

Kemi loves the sun, soca and Scrabble.

Katy Anderson

Team Manager Learning Disability Lead & Autism Champion

Katy joined Camden Carers in July 2022 as the Learning Disability Lead, and became a Support & Wellbeing Team Manager in 2025. She manages a team of staff, completing Carers Conversations and supports with  running the service. Katy is an active member of the Equality & Diversity working group and supports the Camden Carers Voice.

Katy loves holidays and spending time with friends and family, and chocolate!

Amalie Dixey Watson

Support & Wellbeing Worker (Young Adult Carer Lead)

Amalie joined Camden Carers in 2024 as a Support and Wellbeing worker, and the Young Adult Carer Lead), which includes working on the support and wellbeing line, completeing Carers Conversations, facilitating activities for Young Adult Carers, casework, and co-facilitating the online art group.

Amalie loves making art and being in nature.

Clarina Colaco

Administrator

Clarina joined Camden Carers in 2024 as an Admin Support Worker helping to book appointments for Carers including HLC and Carers Conversations. Clarina is also involved with supporting Camden Carers to put on a wide variety of events and activities. Clarina loves going to the gym and swimming, and loves going to the West End for the theatre.

Elion Grajcevci

Support & Wellbeing Worker (Employment Lead)

 Elion Grajcevci is a Support and Wellbeing Worker at Camden Carers, where he has worked since 2023. He initially joined the GP and Hospital Development Service, delivering training to GP practices, hospital teams, and voluntary‑sector organisations to help improve the identification and support of unpaid carers.
In his current role as an Support and Wellbeing Worker (Employment Advisor), Elion carries out carers’ conversations, provides guidance through the Support and Wellbeing Line, and supports carers into employment, education, and vocational opportunities. He is committed to offering practical, person‑centred support that helps carers navigate services and achieve their goals.

Gillian Thompson

Support & Wellbeing Worker (Employment Lead)

Gillian joined Camden Carers in 2022, beginning her journey on the Making Carers Count programme to focus on improving engagement with underrepresented carers. In 2024, she moved into the Support and Wellbeing Team, supporting carers through Carers Conversations, grants, the advice line, community events, and, more recently, as one of the Employment Advice Leads. Gillian also co‑facilitates the Black Carers Collective and contributes to the Equality and Diversity group, championing inclusion and connection across the organisation.

 

Gillian enjoys going to the theatre and gardening.

Jana Benakova

Office Coordinator

Jana joined Camden Carers as an office co-ordinator in 2023. Her role includes supporting staff and ensuring smooth running of the office. She provides reception cover, signposts carers to appropriate internal services, and manages a wide range of enquiries via phone and email. She is also Finance Officer processing invoices and liaising with suppliers and organisations.

Jana loves spending time with her family and people who share her sense of humour.

Lou Huskisson

Support & Wellbeing Worker (Health Lead)

Lou joined Camden Carers in 2016. Lou is a Health Lead and provides Health and Lifestyle Consultations in which she supports Carers to achieve their Health Goals.  Lou also manages the supervision of the Medical students from UCLH who come in to learn about the roles of unpaid Carers.  Lou is part of the Grants Project.

Muhsana Khatun

HR & Volunteer Lead

Muhsana is currently working as the HR & Volunteer lead; she oversees the HR function and processes of the organisation alongside training volunteers, supporting with general communication & events and being a core member of the Equality & Diversity working party.

Muhsana is a big Marvel fan.

Sue Taylor

Support & Wellbeing Worker (Health Lead)

Sue joined Camden Carers in 2013 initially as the Health Promotion Officer. Her current role is as one of the Health Leads delivering Health and Lifestyle Consultations and attends weekly multi-disciplinary team meetings with other health and social care professionals to identify unpaid carers needing support.

Tarana Rahman

Support & Wellbeing Administrator

Tarana works as the support admin and supports with booking carers conversations, registrations, managing incoming queries via phone and email and supports with reception cover
